We hope this magazine will become a space that supports and encourages photo artists to create works with diverse ideas and processes, allowing us to grow together alongside the changes in photography and the world today.
The submission fees will be used to cover our printing, design, and running costs. We have tried our best to keep this fee as low as possible, and the magazine's price reasonable as well.
Submission Details
▶ Theme: OPEN-ENDED : A narrative without a definitive conclusion, where there is no fixed answer, creating a situation that can develop into unpredictable outcomes.▶ Eligibility: Open to photographers and photo artists worldwide, regardless of nationality. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
▶ Style: Works must be rooted in PHOTO-BASED, though we welcome multidisciplinary approaches that integrate other artistic mediums. For reference on our visual direction, please visit ctypemag.com or check Instagram.
▶ Restrictions: Signed and/or watermarked images will not be considered. CTypeMag reserves the right to disqualify any submissions containing illegal content, defamatory material, or hate speech, at the sole discretion of the team.

Get Your Order Number: After completing the payment, check your email to copy the Order Number or save your payment receipt.

Prepare Your Submission: Provide your website or cloud storage link (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox) containing your complete photo series and all relevant project details.

▶ Benefits:
- Selected Artists (8 Artists): Your photo series will be officially featured and published in the printed/digital issue of CTypeMag.
- Finalists (12 Artists): Your work will be showcased and promoted on CTypeMag’s official website and social media platforms.
- Highlight Entries: Outstanding entries may be highlighted on CTypeMag’s Instagram during the Open Call period, with no effect on final selection.
- Printed Magazine: The 20 selected artists and finalists will receive one complimentary copy of CTypeMag Issue 1.

Technical Validity: All submitted works must be original and authored solely by the applicant. Entrants must ensure that their submission links are fully accessible and set to public. CTypeMag reserves the right to disqualify any entry without notice due to technical issues, broken links, or violation of formatting rules, such as including email attachments.

Fees & Refunds: The entry fee of 390 THB is strictly non-refundable once photographs are submitted and payments have been completed. Furthermore, the timestamp on the proof of payment must precede or match the exact time the submission email is sent.

Copyright & Warranties: Artists retain full copyright and ownership of their work. Entrants represent and warrant that their images do not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or intellectual property of any third party. Any work from another artist included in the frame must only be an aesthetic component and not the primary subject. Entrants agree to fully indemnify CTypeMag against all claims, fees, or legal royalties resulting from copyright disputes.

License & Production: The 20 finalists grant CTypeMag a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to utilize their submitted images and names for magazine publication, digital archiving, and promotional purposes. Proper photographer credit will always be provided. The 8 selected artists must deliver high-resolution files (300dpi) within the specified deadline, or their feature in the printed edition will be forfeited.

Promotional Usage: Applicants grant CTypeMag permission to select and feature a portion of the images from their submission links on official social media channels during the active Open Call period.
- Limitation of Liability: CTypeMag and its team assume no responsibility for technical malfunctions, internet traffic congestion, server errors, or human omissions that cause email entries to be delayed or lost. All curatorial decisions are final and binding, and CTypeMag reserves the right to modify these terms at its discretion.
