By submitting your images you agree and accept the following Terms and Conditions

Participants can be from anywhere in the World, but must be over 18 years of age

All submitted images can be any field of photography, please check what we're looking for at CTypeMag.com

Submitting an entry does not ensure that the image will be exhibited or selected as a featured artist.

Submitted images must be made by and belong only to the photographers who enter the open call.

Submitted images can be from any time period in which they were made though more recent work will be preferred.

Entrants can submit more than one submission.

Entrants can submit images up to 3 images in one submission or more but it will be having an additional fee in each of submission.

Signed and/or watermarked images will not be considered.

Entry fees are non-refundable once photographs are submitted and payments have been made.

Any work from another artist included in the image must not be the subject of the photograph and only a component of the frame.

Entered images must not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity.

Defamatory, sexually explicit, obscene, or abusive subject matter will disqualify an image at the discretion of the organizers.

File Sizes

The recommended file size for all entries is 2000px on the long side.

Selected artists may be asked to send higher resolution images (300dpi) to be used for exhibition and promotion purposes.

Ownership of Images

Any entry may have been previously published, as long as the entrant owns the copyright for it and has the legal right to enter it.

Submitted images must have been made by and belong only to the photographers who enter the open call.

By entering the contest, entrant acknowledges, represents and warrants that the submitted work is original and authored by the entrant and agrees that the submitted photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph.

Exhibition

CTypeMag reserves the right to manage exhibiting works of selected artists such as framing, paper, printing size, sequencing, etc. Including the opening ceremony, period of exhibition, and anything related to the open call exhibition.

Shipping works from selected artists are not allowed. The exhibiting works will be new prints and CTypeMag is responsible for printing cost

License, Usage, and Rights

Entrants grant CTypeMag permission to utilize entered images for promotional purposes only, including but not limited to worldwide festival promotion. CTypeMag will not be required to pay any additional compensation in connection with such uses. The photographers will always be credited, and at no time will their images be used for any purpose other than promotion of the open call event.

Each entrant grants CTypeMag the right to use his or her name and likeness for promotional purposes, with no additional compensation.

CTypeMag reserves the right to disqualify any participant at its discretion, without notice, for reasons of unsuitable conduct, conflict of interest, or failure to comply with rules. Payment will not be refunded.

CTypeMag reserves the right to cancel CTypeMag or modify these terms and conditions at its discretion.

Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless CTypeMag, it's organizers, all respective partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, agents and their employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any claims, losses, damages, and injuries arising out of their participation in this open call.

You agree to fully indemnify CTypeMag with respect to all royalties, fees and any other monies owed to any person or entity.

The Organizers (CTypeMag) assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to open call entries or entry forms; or alteration of entries or entry forms. The Organizers are not responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, human errors of any kind, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrants' or any other persons' computers related to or resulting from participation, uploading, or downloading of any materials related to this open call.
