Say something about yourself?

My name is Kob musician/photographer based in Bangkok,Thailand. My passion is street photography. I have been shooting almost everyday since 2015 after attending the first street photo workshop with Akkara Naktamna and Tavepong Pratoomwong. Currently still in love in street photography and trying to push myself to make more photo essays.

What is this series?

SAFE RIDE is a photo series about Thai drivers’ belief that they have to worship the holy spirit in their vehicles; cars or boats. In this series I focus on Tuk Tuk Bicycle.

How did you start this series?

I just took photos of some Tuk Tuk Bicycles because they are rarely seen in my hometown, then a flower in front of a car caught my eyes. There are many types of flowers and objects I discovered afterwards.

What do you want to tell the audience about this work?

Whatever makes you feel safe is cool, but please stay conscious.

Any news or updates?

Right now I’m running my own YouTube channel “KOB.ISSARET”. It’s about street photography.
